Because of Mr. Terupt

Hello everyone! The other day I went to the library, and got this amazing book that I really want to share with you. This book is called Because of Mr. Terupt. The book follows one of the fifth-grade classes at Snow Hill Elementary, including students Peter, the mischievous; Alexia, the bully; Anna, the shy one; Danielle, not very self-confident; Jessica, new girl, a reader; Luke, the smart one; snd Jeffrey, the school-hater. The book tells about their experiences with new teacher Mr. Terupt, who makes the classroom a fun place to learn. But, on a snowy, cold, winter day, an accident changes everything.

Because of Mr Terupt
This book is a really good one partially of the way that the book uses a bunch of different points of view to capture on moment. For example, when Alexia gets in trouble, the author tells it from Peter's, Alexia's, and Jessica's point of view. This helps you understand what happened very clearly. This is also a good book because the author just gives the climax right out of the blue. No suspension, no build-up, nothing. It's a nice day, the fifth-graders are playing in the snow happily, and...BAM. The accident/climax happens right there, no warning. The book makes you feel like everything is happening in a blur, like it is for the class. The book also, in some way, makes you feel extremely devastated when the accident happens. I absolutely, positively, recommend this book. It's amazing, no other word for it.
