Hi guys! It's not a book review again this time, but some more drawings. Can you imagine that it's been more than a year since I've done this? Crazy! Anyways, since it's nearly Thanksgiving, I am sharing with you a few Thanksgiving pics I did.
As you can see, this is a picture of a grandmother holding a turkey for Thanksgiving. The medium was oil pastel, on art paper. I think I could have done better on the dress of the grandmother, as I think I should have been a bit more creative.
Here is a picture of a Pilgrim boy carrying vegetables to the first Thanksgiving feast. The medium is, once again, oil pastel, and is also on art paper. Can you see the smudges on the boy's face? The funny thing is, they were never supposed to be there. I was coloring in the boy's hair, and I accidentally smudged the boy's face. I was kind of upset at first, but then I realized that the smudges added to the rough lifestyle that the Pilgrims had to live by.
Okay, this isn't really a Thanksgiving picture. This picture was made with oil pastel (big surprise) and on art paper (another big surprise). Like I said, this isn't a Thanksgiving picture, but it has food, and who doesn't like a good burger now and then?
